Fog and a meeting

The early morning fog led me to the cemetery looking for good shots. I was not the only one with that idea. The person turned out to be Madelyn. She is the one who has left the envelope for people to leave a record of their visit with Andy.

The rain from the previous two days left a fascinating moisture pattern on the tombstone.

From certain angles the writing on the tombstone looked to disappear.

Here is a additional look at the tombstone with the fog in the distance.

Have a Coke and a smile.

Someone has given Andy a bottle of Coca-Cola. This is the first time that I've seen this product from Andy's iconic pop art works at the tombstone.

Here is a closer look at the Coke and Campbell's combination.

Also, a lollipop and a packet of Sweet 'n Low were added to the base of the tombstone.

Tiiime with Andy

The biggest difference is that the white wig is gone.

Someone was at the tombstone long enough to leave three cigarette butts and the pack.

Spare change

Not much has changed to the scene. The most visible change was the move of the white wig back to the top of the tombstone.

Here is a close-up of the items along the bottom of the tombstone.

Christmas is over.

The wreath has been removed from the tombstone.

The white wig has been moved to under the art project envelope.

The little toy dog has fallen from the tombstone. It turns out that it was McDonald's toy promoting Hotel for Dogs.

Twenty-two years later

Here is the view of Andy Warhol's tombstone twenty-two years after his death.

Not sure why, but three of the cans have been moved into a row behind the tombstone.

The most interesting item is a plastic envelope with a request and supplies. There is a name and number on the paper, but I didn't think it was my place to publish it.

Sealed with a kiss.

There have been several changes to the scene including a dark red kiss on the tombstone.

The white wig has been moved to the top of the wreath.

Andy has been given a Warhol-style photo print of a young woman.

Here is a close-up view of the kiss.
